Coming to Kearney, Nebraska, on September 7th & 8th!
The folks at Family History Expos have done again what they do so well - organized another expo. This year's Midwest expo will be held in Kearney, Nebraska. The keynote address speaker will be Ruby Coleman, the Nebraska State Genealogical Society Genealogist of the Year. She will also be making several presentations especially suited to mid-west research.
Presenters again include experts from all across the genealogical research spectrum. I've had the privilege of working with many of them at previous expos, and very much appreciate their knowledge and their willingness to share it. FamilySearch will be teaching multiple classes as well as setting up in the exhibitor's area to help people with their research and questions about familysearch.org. Yours truly will be there, too. :)
Besides the extremely reasonable price of admission and the numerous vendors, this expo (all FHExpos!) offers something for everyone. Take a look at the agenda (you can click on the banner at the top of this post). From Beginner to Expert, the variety of presentations includes information pertinent to wherever you fall on the family history research scale. Attending equates to genealogical rejuvenation!
I'd love to see you there. I'll be hanging out at the 'Ask-the-Pros' booth with Billy Edgington, James Tanner and others. We're happy to try to help with your research questions, and love to hear your successes. Stop by and say 'hello!'
